Preparing the property for your real estate photo shoot.
*Please consider that your listing will appear in High-Quality imagery on the web. Therefore stage your listing as you wish to be viewed. Clean and decluttered homes are more appealing to viewers and will generate more interest in the listing.
Here are a few suggestions to prepare the listing prior to the photo shoot to help obtain the best images.
Curb appeal:
Remove garbage cans from the exterior view.
Remove vehicles from the driveway.
Have the grass mowed in advance.
Trim dead foliage such as palm frons.
Remove debris from the yard.
Inside:
Straighten pictures or artwork on walls.
Replace light bulbs that are not working, preferably all the same color temperature.
Clean the areas to be photographed to your satisfaction.
Remove or cover files, secure documents, and or anything with personal/private information showing.
Organize desks.
Clean/Mop/Vacuum floors.
Touch up paint if needed.
Clean windows.
Organize bookshelves.
Stage your rooms.
Move items you wish not to be seen from view.
Please note, our photographers are not movers and we don’t move furniture due to insurance. If furniture needs to be moved out of a room for a shot, please have this done prior to your photoshoot.
Animals/Pets:
Please put animals in a secure room so they are out of the photos. The homeowner is responsible if the family pet damages camera equipment.
Remove pet beds, feeding bowls, and other items from rooms.
We are pet lovers, however, we need to make sure our photographer and equipment are safe during the session.
